Jacqueline S. Vinaccia is the partner heading Lounsbery Ferguson Altona & Peak LLP’s Litigation Team.  Ms. Vinaccia assists the firm’s clients with all their litigation needs before judges and juries, and at mediation, trial and appellate court levels.  Ms. Vinaccia advises and represents the firm’s public and private clients in municipal law, land use, condemnation and other litigation matters, while also representing her own contractor, developer, business owner, and homeowners association  clients.

Ms. Vinaccia has also acted as an Attorney Fee Auditor for more than a decade.  She has assisted many insurance companies, and business clients in resolving attorney fee disputes, and acted as an attorney fee analysis expert in several states through out the U.S., and has testified in both State and Federal Courts.  She has written and presented on the topics of appropriate billing practices and fee auditing in local and national publications and before organizations in across the U.S.  She also serves on the Fee Arbitration Committee of the San Diego County Bar Association.

Before joining LFAP, Ms. Vinaccia was a partner with the national law firm of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP where she gained extensive trial experience before judges and juries, as well as arguing before the court of appeals.  Ms. Vinaccia began her legal career with the Orange County and San Diego firm of DiCaro, Highman, D’Antony, Dillard, Fuller & Gregor, where she was elevated to trial counsel within the first year of her practice.

Ms. Vinaccia received an undergraduate degree in political science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1987.  In 1990, she received her Juris Doctor degree from University of the San Diego, School of Law, with honors in Trial Advocacy.

Ms. Vinaccia sits on the Board of Directors for Doors of Change (aka Photocharity), an organization dedicated to helping San Diego County’s homeless youth.  Ms. Vinaccia is a former member of MANA de San Diego, A National Latina Organization, where she served two years as General Counsel.  She is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, Litigation Section and the California State Bar Litigation Section.

Ms. Vinaccia is Martindale Hubble AV Preeminent ® Rated and was voted to San Diego Super Lawyers in 2013, 2015 and 2016, Southern California Super Lawyers in 2014, and San Diego Magazine’s Top Lawyers in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
