Morton S. Park

            Morton S. Park graduated cum laude from Claremont McKenna College with a degree in History/Black Studies in 1999.  In 2002, he earned his Juris Doctor from U.C. Hastings College of the Law.  During law school, Mr. Park earned the Witkin and Cali Awards for top performance in Trial Advocacy, externed with the Hon. Susan Illston of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, and served as the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal.

            In 2003, Mr. Park joined the San Diego City Attorney’s Office, where he performed as a trial prosecutor in the Criminal Division.  He was promoted in 2005 to the Neighborhood Prosecution Unit, where he prosecuted quality of life crimes in the Mid-City/City Heights area.  Later in 2005, Mr. Park was promoted to the Real Property Section of the Civil Division, where he specialized in real estate matters as the lead advisory attorney to the City’s Real Estate Assets Department and Airports Division.

            Mr. Park joined Lounsbery Ferguson Altona and Peak in August 2006.  His practice includes an emphasis on municipal law, land-use, project entitlement, administrative law and public contract matters.

            Mr. Park has served the greater San Diego area through joining his church’s volunteer efforts with the San Diego Rescue Mission and San Diego Food Bank distributions in North Park.

            Mr. Park is a member of the State Bar of California.
