Avneet K. Sidhu
Ms. Sidhu attended the University of Alberta where she earned a
Bachelor degree in psychology in 1992. In 2002 she earned her law
degree from the University of British Columbia and in 2005, her
Master’s degree in Legal Psychology from Simon Fraser University.
While in Canada, Ms. Sidhu worked for the British Columbia Ministry of
Attorney General where she worked on corporate, criminal and
administrative law matters. After moving to San Diego in 2004,
Ms. Sidhu practiced civil litigation relating to residential and
commercial real property matters, including contract disputes, unfair
competition law and construction and title defects. Ms. Sidhu was
also an Adjunct Professor at Thomas Jefferson School of Law where she
taught advanced legal writing to first year students.
Ms.
Sidhu joined Lounsbery Ferguson Altona & Peak in May of 2008 and
now specializes in land use, development, real estate, environmental
and municipal law.
Ms.
Sidhu is actively involved in the Rotary Club of Carlsbad, as a member
and board member. Ms. Sidhu is a member of the State Bar of
California and a non-practicing member of the Law Society of British
Columbia, Canada.
